Ask Us a Question Not Covered Below

  • Do you offer a written contract?
A written contract is one of the first indicators that you are working with a DJ who is professional and r
eliable. We offer a written contract for every event we do.
  • Will the person we meet be the DJ at our event?
Often times with other DJ companies, the person you meet with will not be the DJ at your event. With us that is never the case. We set up a “meet and greet” consultation prior to every booking with each client so there is never a question of who will be the DJ at your event. You will be provided with all his/her contact information and will work closely with them all the way through your planning process up to the event date.
  • How long have you been a DJ and how many events have you done?
All of our DJ’s/ Live Entertainers have a minimum of 15 years professional experience. I personally have 20 years experience and have performed at well over 500 events since 1990. We all share the same high standards and value good work ethic.
  • Do you act as the “emcee” and make all of the announcements?
We realize the importance of making your event run as smoothly as possible. We will assist in every way to ensure that your event keeps moving along and make all scheduled announcements.
  • How involved can we be in selecting music for our event?
You can be as involved as you like. I often tell my clients that if you can give me ten or so songs that you must have played, I can get a really good idea of what kind of music you and your guests will like. We are all very good at reading the crowd.
  • When do we need to submit our music requests and event details?
The closer to the event date the better. We like to schedule your final consultation approximately 20-30 days prior to your event to go over all of the times and music selections. This way it is fresh in our minds.
  • Do you take requests from our guests?
If you have a guest that requests a song that we believe to be a little obscure, we will first ask your permission before we play it. All of our music is “radio edited” so you can be assured that no foul language will be heard in the music we play.
  • Can we submit a “Do Not Play” list?
Absolutely! This is by far the most commonly asked question. Your “Do Not Play List” is equally, if not more important than your “Must Play List”. We guarantee NOT to play any song on that list!
  • When do you arrive to set up for our event?
It takes between 1 1/2 to 2 hours to set up depending on how many systems your event requires. We will contact your venue of choice ahead of time to make sure they know when we will be arriving to set up.
  • What will you wear to our event?
All of our male DJ’s/Entertainers wear a full tuxedo to all formal events. If you prefer our attire to be less formal, we will wear a suit and tie. Female entertainers wear business suits unless instructed otherwise.
  • How much of a deposit is required to secure our date?
We require a $100.00 non-refundable deposit for all events.
  • What is included in the cost of my event?
All sound and lighting equipment, wireless microphones, and all consultations. The price on your contract is for “playing time” only. You never pay for set-up or teardown time.
  • Do you bring backup equipment with you to the wedding?
Even the very best and most well maintained equipment will malfunction at some point. In the unlikely event that we would ever have to use it, we always carry backup equipment and music libraries to every event.
  • Do you set up a sign or banner with your equipment?
Self-promotion in the form of a sign or a banner is completely unprofessional! This is the last thing you want to see in the background of your wedding photographs. We never promote ourselves at any event with signs or banners.
  • How do you keep your music collection up-to-date?
We subscribe to Promo-Only music update service out of Orlando keeping our collection up-to-date. Our current subscription includes: Mainstream Radio, Country Radio, and Urban Radio which offers us new, radio edited music each month, often times before it is even playing on the radio. We currently have over 70,000 tracks in our database and it continues to grow all the time.
